Vial Tear Indications
Irritation of the eyes; itching, swelling, and conjunctival hyperemia, burning, tearing (dust, cosmetics, smoke, swimming in chlorinated water, the glare effect, wearing contact lenses).
Allergic conjunctivitis.
Dosing and Administration
For opening the bottle, the screw must be fully cover, with a spike at its inner side has to pierce a dropper bottle.
Adults and children over 6 years instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye 2 or 3 times a day.
Continuous use of the drug may not be more than 4 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to tetryzoline and other ingredients.
Glaucoma, epidermal-Fuchs’ dystrophy.
Children under 2 years old.
Overdose. When using the drug according to instructions overdose of eye drops is not possible.
The risk of overdose symptoms caused by system-wide absorption of the drug is high in young children, especially when drops swallowed.
Symptoms: mydriasis, nausea, cyanosis, fever, convulsions, tachycardia, arrhythmia, heart failure, hypertension, pulmonary edema, a violation of the respiratory function and mental activity.
Excessive absorption of imidazole derivatives having alpha-sympathomimetic properties can cause central nervous system depression, accompanied by sleepiness, decreased body temperature, bradycardia, collapse, apnea and coma.
Treatment If swallowed drops of activated charcoal, gastric lavage, oxygen inhalation, antipyretic and anti-convulsants.
