Tincture.

Main physicochemical properties: transparent liquid of reddish-brown color with a characteristic pleasant odor. The formation of a precipitate is allowed.

Pharmacodynamics
Biologically active substances contained in the roots and rhizomes of valerian (essential oil, valeric acid, borneol, alkaloids, tannins, sugars) reduce excitation processes in the central nervous system, enhance the effects of other sedatives, hypnotics, analgesics and antispasmodics.
