Ursosan forte Indications

Ursodeoxycholic acid

For dissolution of cholesterol gallstones no larger than 15 mm in diameter in patients with a functioning gallbladder, despite the presence in it of gall stones.

For the treatment of gastritis with bile reflux.

For symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) in the absence of decompensated cirrhosis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any substance that is part of the Ursosan forte drug.

Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or bile ducts.

Obstruction of the bile duct (common bile duct blockage or duct).

Frequent episodes of hepatic colic.

Rentgenokontrastnye calcified gallbladder stones.

Violation of the contractility of the gallbladder.

Dosage & Administration

For dissolution of cholesterol gallstones

Apply the acid at a dose of approximately 10 mg per 1 kg of body weight per day, corresponding to:

60 kg – 2 capsules

61-80 kg – 3 capsules

81-100 kg – 4 capsules

More than 100 kg – 5 capsules
