Ursodeoxycholic acid Indications

Dosage & Administration

Ursodeoxycholic acid adults administered orally, without chewing, drinking plenty of fluids (can be during a meal). The daily dose is usually taken 1 time a day at bedtime, in some cases, to enhance the effect holeliticheskogo – 2 times a day.
Dosage regimen  is individual:
to dissolve gallstones in a dose of 10 mg / kg of body weight per day taken from 6 months to 2 years. If after 12 months of treatment, a decrease not gallstones, further use of the drug is inappropriate. Treatment efficacy is monitored by ultrasound or X-ray every 6 months. With the development of calcification of stones treatment ceased;

Contadictions

Hypersensitivity to the drug; acute cholecystitis; acute cholangitis; non-functioning gall bladder;
gallstone disease with a high calcium content in the calculi; empyema of the gallbladder; bile-intestinal fistula; inflammation of the small and large intestines; cirrhosis of the liver in the stage of decompensation; liver and / or kidney failure; pancreatitis; children weighing less than 35 kg; During pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The capsules should not be used as Choludexan with obstruction of the bile duct (common bile duct or duct bladder).
