Umifenovir INIDICATIONS

– Prevention and treatment of influenza A and B, SARS, including complicated.

– In the complex therapy of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, and recurrent herpetic infection.

– In the complex treatment of acute intestinal infection rotavirus etiology in children older than 2 years.

APPLICATION

Umifenovir is taken orally before a meal.

With the aim of preventing non-specific:
persons in contact with patients with influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections: children aged 2-6 years – 50 mg; 6-12 years – 100 mg; children over the age of 12 years and adults – 200 mg 1 time per day for 10-14 days;
during a flu epidemic and SARS to prevent exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and recurrent herpes: children aged 2-6 years – 50 mg; 6-12 years – 100 mg; children older than 12 years and adults – 200 mg 2 times a week for 3 weeks.

With the purpose of treatment:
influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections without complications: children aged 2-6 years – 50 mg; 6-12 years – 100 mg; children over the age of 12 years and adults – 200 mg 4 times a day (every 6 hours) for 3-5 days;
influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections, complicated by bronchitis, pneumonia: children aged 2-6 years – 50 mg; 6-12 – 100 mg, for children older than 12 years and adults – 200 mg four times a day (every 6 hours) for 5 days, then – 1 single dose once a week for 4 weeks .;

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to the Umifenovir; Children under the age of 2 years.
