Triplixam 30 tablets (Variations)

Triplixam Composition:
active ingredients: 1 tablet contains perindopril arginine, indapamide and amlodipine besylate according to dosage;
other ingredients: tablet: a mixture of calcium carbonate and starch, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, pregelatinized starch; film coat: glycerin, hypromelose, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
ACE inhibitors, other compositions. Perindopril, amlodipine and indapamide. ATX code C09B X01.

Indications:
Triplixam is indicated for the treatment of hypertension in patients requiring treatment with perindopril, indapamide and amlodipine in fixed combination doses.

Dosage and administration:
For oral use.
1 tablet Triplixam once a day, preferably in the morning before meals. The use of a fixed combination is not intended for initial therapy. If necessary, the dose of a fixed combination of Triplixam can be changed or an individual selection of doses separately for each component can be recommended.

Special patient groups
Patients with impaired renal function (see sections “Contraindications” and “Peculiarities of use”). In severe renal failure (creatinine clearance below 30 ml / min), treatment with the drug is contraindicated. In patients with moderate renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance – 30-60 ml / min), the appointment of Triplixam at doses of 10 mg / 2.5 mg / 5 mg and 10 mg / 2.5 mg / 10 mg is contraindicated. Routine medical supervision should include frequent monitoring of blood creatinine and potassium levels.
Elderly patients
(see section “Peculiarities of use”). It should be borne in mind that the excretion of perindoprilat in elderly patients is reduced (see subsection “Pharmacokinetics”). Appointment of the drug Triplixam to elderly patients is possible taking into account the function of the kidneys (see “Contraindications”).
Patients with impaired liver function
(see sections “Contraindications”, “Peculiarities of use” and subsection “Pharmacokinetics”). Treatment with Triplixam is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment. Triplixam should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment due to the lack of dosage recommendations for amlodipine.
