Triamcinolone acetonide cream 1mg/g 15g

Composition
active ingredient: triamcinolone;

1 g of cream contains micronized triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg;

excipients: cetylpyridinium chloride, propylene glycol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, solid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, purified water.

Indications
Skin diseases for which treatment with corticosteroids is indicated (eczema, psoriasis vulgaris, allergic dermatitis).

Dosage and administration
For outdoor use.

Adults: apply a thin layer of cream 2-3 times a day on the affected skin area (maximum dose for adults – no more than 15 g of cream per day) or apply the drug under an occlusive dressing (maximum dose – no more than 10 g of cream per day). The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.

Children: from 1 year old, apply a thin layer of cream a maximum of 2 times a day to the affected area of the skin. The duration of the drug use in children should not exceed 5 days. The use of an occlusive dressing is contraindicated in children.

The appointment of a cream for children is possible only in exceptional cases.

In elderly patients, the drug must be used carefully and for a short time, since it should be borne in mind that in this category of patients the skin is thinner.
