Tobiflamin (tobramycin + dexamethasone)

Tobiflamin contains the active ingredient tobramycin + dexamethasone, aminoglycoside antibiotic + corticosteroid (ophthalmic).

Tobiflamin Indications

Inflammation of the eye in steroid-sensitive patients who are indicated for the use of corticosteroids and have a superficial bacterial infection or a risk of developing a bacterial eye infection. These inflammatory processes can occur after surgery or can be caused by an infection, a foreign body in the eye, or an eye injury. 

Contradictions

– Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any component of the drug.

– Keratitis caused by the herpes simplex virus.

– Cowpox, chickenpox and other viral infections of the cornea and conjunctiva.

– Fungal diseases of the eye structures or untreated parasitic eye infections.

– Mycobacterial eye infections.

Dosage & Administration

Shake the vial well before use.

To prevent contamination of the dropper edge and the contents of the vial, be careful not to touch the eyelids, adjacent areas and other surfaces with the edge of the dropper vial.

Store the vial upright.

Children. The doctor’s recommendations should be followed when using the drug in children over 1 year of age. Safety and efficacy in children under 1 year of age have not been established.
