Tergynan Composition:
active ingredients: ternidazole, neomycin sulfate, nystatin, prednisolone sodium metasulfobenzoate; 1 vaginal tablet contains ternidazole 200 mg neomycin sulfate 100 mg (65,000 IU) nystatin 100,000 IU prednisolone sodium metasulfobenzoate 4.7 mg, which corresponds to 3.0 mg prednisolone; excipients: wheat starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch (type A), magnesium stearate, lactose.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Antimicrobial and antiseptic agents used in gynecology. Imidazole derivatives and corticosteroids. Code ATX G01B F.

Indications:
Treatment of vaginitis caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug: bacterial vaginitis caused by banal pyogenic microflora; nonspecific vaginitis, accompanied by desquamative secretions; trichomoniasis of the vagina; vaginitis caused by fungi of the genus Candida; vaginitis caused by a mixed infection (Trichomonas, anaerobic infection and yeast-like fungi).

Dosage and administration:
Doses and duration of treatment are determined by the doctor individually. Assigned to adults. It is applied vaginally, 1 vaginal tablet 1-2 times a day. The average duration of treatment is 10 days in a row. In case of confirmed mycosis – 20 days. After thorough hand washing, patients are advised to soak the tablets in water for 2-3 seconds before inserting them to the most comfortable depth into the vagina (this is easier when the patient is lying on his back with bent legs). Then you need to lie down for about 15 minutes after the administration of the drug. Practical advice. Treatment should be accompanied by personal hygiene (wear cotton underwear, avoid douching and use pads instead of tampons during treatment) and, as far as possible, avoid adverse factors. Do not interrupt the course of treatment during menstruation.
