Tabex Composition:
active ingredient: cytisine; 1 coated tablet contains cytisine 1.5 mg; excipients: powdered cellulose, calcium sulfate dihydrate, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate; film coating: Opadry II brown 85G 265 001 [partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 4000, lecithin, talc, iron oxide yellow (E172), iron oxide red (E172), iron oxide black (E172)] .

Indications:
In chronic nicotinism – for weaning from smoking.

Dosage and administration:
adults
The drug is used according to the following scheme: from the 1st to the 3rd day – 1 tablet every 2 hours (6 tablets per day). At the same time, gradually reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke. If the result is unsatisfactory, treatment is stopped and can be resumed after 2-3 months. With a positive effect, treatment is continued according to the following scheme:

• from the 4th to the 12th day – 1 tablet every 2.5 hours (5 tablets per day)
• from the 13th to the 16th day – 1 tablet every 3 hours (4 tablets per day);
• from the 17th to the 20th day – 1 tablet every 5 hours (3 tablets per day);
• from the 21st to the 25th day – 1-2 tablets per day.

Take the tablets whole with a sufficient amount of liquid. The final cessation of smoking should occur before the fifth day from the start of treatment. After completing the course of treatment, the patient should show the will and not allow himself to smoke a single cigarette. Patients over 65 years of age It is not recommended to use the drug in this age group of patients.
