Sertaconazole Indications

Local treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes and yeasts: athlete’s foot, athlete’s shin, jock itch, ringworm smooth skin, trihofitia the beard and mustache growth, tinea hands, candidiasis, pityriasis versicolor.

Dosage & Adminsitration

Apply the cream 1-2 times a day (preferably in the evening or in the morning and evening) evenly thin layer to affected areas of the skin, being careful to capture about 1 cm of intact skin.

Duration of treatment is determined individually, taking into account the causative agent of the disease and localization of infection.

To eliminate clinical symptoms and to obtain microbiological confirmation of recovery, and to prevent recurrence of the disease is recommended 4-week course of treatment, although in most cases, clinical recovery comes earlier, between the 2nd and 4th week of treatment.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to sertaconazole, other imidazole derivatives or other ingredients of the drug.
