Simparica chewable tablets against fleas and ticks for dogs.

Features:

treatment of infestations with parasitic mites;
has persistent activity against ticks for 5 weeks;
causes the death of fleas before they lay eggs, prevents contamination of flea eggs with fleas in the habitats of animals affected by fleas;
can be used for the treatment and prevention of dogs with flea allergic dermatitis (FAD);
treatment of infestations with sarcoptic mites: scabies (Sarcoptes canis) and ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) and thrombidiform mites (Demodex canis);
the drug causes the death of fleas parasitizing the animal after 8 hours, ticks – after 12 hours;
treatment with the drug indirectly reduces the risk of tick-borne diseases (canine babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, borreliosis) for 5 weeks;
the drug has a pleasant liver taste.
Dosage and method of administration:

the drug is administered orally once with or without food at a dose of 2-4 mg/kg of animal body weight;
20 mg – one tablet for dogs weighing > 5 – 10 kg;
in the treatment of ixodid and siphonapterous infestations, the drug is administered to dogs once a month during the tick and flea activity season;
for animals of other body weights, drugs with the appropriate active ingredient content (10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, 80 mg or 120 mg) are administered;
in the treatment of sarcoptic mange, the drug is administered to dogs once a month for two months;
in the treatment of demodicosis, the drug is administered to dogs once a month for three months.
