Quinax (azapentacene)

Quinax contains the active ingredient azapentacene, anti-cataract ophthalmic agent (quinoid suppressor).

Quinax Indications

Senile cataract, traumatic or congenital cataract and secondary cataracts.

Dosage & Administration

2 drops drug Quinax to the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (eyes) 3-5 times a day.

After instillation is recommended nososlozova tight occlusion or closing the eyelids. This reduces the systemic absorption of drugs introduced in the eye, which reduces the likelihood of systemic side effects.

If concomitant therapy with other local ophthalmic drugs should be observed for 10-15 minutes interval between their application.

Mode of administration

To prevent contamination of the dropper tip and solution, and should be careful not to touch the eyelids, surrounding areas or other surfaces of bottle-dropper tip.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the ingredients.
