Quanil (citicoline)

Quanil contains the active ingredient citicoline, nootropic.

Quanil Indications

– The acute phase of stroke and treatment of complications and consequences of stroke.

– Traumatic brain injury and its consequences.

– Neurological disorders (cognitive, sensitive, motor) caused by cerebral degenerative disorders and vascular origin.

Contraindications

– Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Dosage & Administration

Quanil drug used internally, regardless of the meal.

The recommended dose for adults is 500 mg (5 ml) to 2000 mg (20 ml) per day, which is divided into 2-3 receptions.

The drug previously mixed with a little water, taken using measuring cup. It is necessary to wash out measuring cup with water after each use. For measuring doses can use plastic single syringe without a needle.

The dose and duration of treatment depends on the severity of the brain damage and the doctor set individually.

Elderly patients do not require dose adjustment.
