Pulmicort suspension 0.25-0.5mg/ml 2ml/20 sachets

Pulmicort Composition:
active ingredient: budesonide; 1 ml suspension for spraying contains 0.25 mg budesonide; excipients: sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium edetate, polysorbate 80, citric acid, water for injection.

Dosage form:
Spray suspension. Basic physical and chemical properties: easily resuspendable white or almost white suspension filled into containers containing a single dose of low density polyethylene.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Medications used in obstructive airway diseases. Code ATX R03B A02.

Indications:
Pulmicort contains a powerful non-halogenated GCS – budesonide, intended for the treatment of bronchial asthma in patients for whom the use of inhalers with the spraying of medicinal substances with compressed air or in the form of a dry powder dosage form is ineffective or impractical. Pulmicort is also recommended for use in infants and children with croup (a complication of an acute viral infection of the upper respiratory tract, also known as laryngotracheobronchitis or subglottic laryngitis), which is an indication for hospitalization.
