Posiformin (bibrocathol)

Posiformin contains the active ingredient bibrocathol, mild antiseptic/astringent ophthalmic ointment.

Posiformin Indications

Non-specific stimulation of the outer membranes of the eye infectious genesis, chronic inflammation of the eyelid edge (chronic blepharitis), fresh wounds not infected cornea.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the drug.

Dosage & Administration

A strip of ointment the length of 0.5 cm lay in the conjunctival sac or applied on the affected eyelid 3-5 times a day. Dosage for adults and children aged 6 years of the same.

The drug should be used until symptoms disappear. Usually, treatment duration should not exceed 14 days.
