Physiotens (moxonidine)

Physiotens contains the active ingredient moxonidine, centrally acting antihypertensive (imidazoline agonist).

Physiotens Indications

Hypertension.

Dosage & Administration

Physiotens initial dose is usually 0.2 mg 1 time per day and the maximum daily dose – 0.6 mg in 2 divided doses. The maximum single dose – 0.4 mg. The dose should be individualized according to patient response.
Physiotens can be taken regardless of meals.

In patients with moderate or severe renal insufficiency as well as in hemodialysis, the initial dose of Physiotens is 0.2 mg / day. If necessary, in the case of good tolerance dose can be increased to 0.4 mg / day.

For patients on hemodialysis, the initial dose of the drug Physiotens is 0.2 mg / day. If necessary, in the case of good tolerance dose can be increased to 0.4 mg / day.

Application Physiotens not recommended for patients under the age of 18 years due to a lack of data on efficacy and safety in this age group.

Contradictions

Side Effects
