Paracetamol Indications

Contradictions

Dosage & Administration

Administered orally. Take with plenty of liquid, 1-2 hours after a meal (reception immediately after a meal leads to a lengthening of the suction time).

For adults and children older than 12 years (body weight 40 kg) single dose of 400-1000 mg multiplicity of purposes – up to 4 times per day. The maximum daily dose for an adult – 4,000 mg. The maximum duration of treatment – 5-7 days. For patients with impaired hepatic or renal function, in elderly patients the dose should be reduced and increase the interval between doses.

Children are appointed with the dosage according to a rate – 10-15 mg / kg – a single dose. Reception can be repeated 6 hours (up to 4 times a day).

The maximum daily dose for children 3 to 6 years (up to 22 kg) – 1000 mg, from 6 to 9 years of age (up to 30 kg) – 1500 mg, from 9 to 12 years (up to 40 kg) – 2000 mg. The maximum duration of treatment without consulting a doctor – 3 days (upon receipt of a fever-reducing drug) and 5 days (as an analgesic).
