Otofa (rifamycin)

Otofa contains the active ingredient rifamycin, rifamycin antibiotic ear drops.

Otofa Indications

– chronic otitis media in the period of exacerbation, including the presence of persistent perforation of the tympanic membrane;

– isolated purulent lesions of the eardrum; conditions after surgeries on the middle ear.

Dosage & Administration

5 drops 2 times a day or pour solution drug for a few minutes, 2 times a day; drug can be used to wash the tympanic cavity through the cannula attic.

Babies instilled into the ear canal 3 drops of 2 times a day, or pour rr preparation for a few minutes, 2 times a day.
The duration of the treatment – typically no more than 7 days.

Before using ear drops Otofa recommended to warm the bottle by holding it in your hand, in order to avoid discomfort caused by cold liquid hit in the ear.
