COMPOSITION AND PACKAGING

Ibuprofen 60 mg
Other ingredients: hard fat 1 (Witepsol H 15) 2 hard fat (Witepsol W 45).

INDICATIONS

Symptomatic treatment of fever and pain of various genesis (following immunization including fever, SARS, influenza, teething pain, pain after tooth extraction and other types of pain, including inflammatory genesis).

APPLICATION

The dosage for children depending on the child’s age and body weight.

Single dose – 5-10 mg / kg.

The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg / kg.

Children aged 3 to 6 months – 2.5 ml of the suspension (50 mg) every eight hours, but not more than 7.5 ml (150 mg) per day.

Children aged 6 to 12 months – 2.5 ml of the suspension (50 mg) every 6 hours and no more than 10 ml (200 mg) per day.

Children aged 1 to 3 years – 5 ml of the suspension (100 mg) every eight hours, and 15 ml (300 mg) per day.

Children aged 4 to 6 years – 7.5 ml suspension (150 mg) three times daily (450 mg).

Children aged 7 to 9 years – 10 ml of the suspension (200 mg) three times a day (600 mg).

Children aged 10 to 12 years – 15 ml suspension (300 mg) three times daily (900 mg).

When fever after immunization (children aged 3-6 months) – 2.5 ml, if needed – an additional 2.5 ml at 6 hours but not more than 5 ml within 24 h.

The duration depends on the disease, and is usually 3 days.

Suppositories. Nurofen for Children suppositories 60 mg can be used in children under the age of 3 months with body weight <6 kg.

The dosage for children depending on the child’s age and body weight.

The maximum single dose not exceed 10 mg / kg. Dosing interval must be at least 6 hours.

The maximum total daily dose of ibuprofen is 20-30 mg / kg body weight, divided into 3-4 single doses. It means that:

children aged between 3 and 9 months with body weight 6-8 kg – 1 suppository (60 mg) every 6-8 hours, but not more than 3 times a day.
for children from 9 months to 2 years 8-12,5 kg body weight – 1 suppository (60 mg) every 6 hours but not more than 4 times per day.
The duration of treatment depends on the disease course and is usually 3 days, if the symptoms do not disappear within 3 days, please contact the doctor.

Nurofen for children in suppositories of 60 mg is recommended for use when the reception by the oral route is impossible, for example in the event of vomiting.
