Nifuroxazide Richter oral suspension 220mg/5ml, 90ml

Indications

Diarrhea of infectious genesis of children and adults, chronic colitis, enterocolitis.

As an auxiliary agent in the complex treatment of intestinal dysbiosis.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to derivatives of 5-nitrofuran or other components of the drug.

Dsage & Administration

The drug is taken internally.

Before use, the bottle with the suspension should be thoroughly shaken.

For dosing, use a double measuring spoon (enclosed in a package) of 2.5 ml (a smaller measuring spoon) or 5 ml (large measuring spoon).

1 measuring spoon of 2.5 ml contains 110 mg of nifuroxazide; 1 large measuring spoon of 5 ml contains 220 mg of nifuroxazide.

Doses for children under 7 years of age: aged 1-6 months – 2.5 ml (1 small spoon) 2-3 times a day;

   From 6 months to 2 years – by 2.5 ml (1 smaller measuring spoon) 4 times a day;

   2-7 years – 5 ml (1 large measuring spoon) 3 times a day.

Doses for children over 7 years of age and adults: children over the age of 7 years and adults – 5 ml (1 large measuring spoon) 4 times a day.

Children over 7 years of age can use Nifuroxazid Richter tablets coated with 100 mg.

It is recommended that the drug be taken at regular intervals, regardless of food intake. The course of treatment – 5-7 days. During the treatment of acute diarrhea, it is necessary to maintain the oral or intravenous fluid deficiency in the body, depending on the general condition of the patient.
