Mefenamic acid Indications

Acute respiratory infections and influenza.

Primary dysmenorrhea. Dysfunctional menorrhagia.

Inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system: rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatism, spondylitis disease.

Pain low and medium intensity: muscular, articular, traumatic, toothache, headache different etiology, postoperative and postpartum pain.

Contraindications

Dosage & Administration

Used internally, the drug is taken after meals.
Adults and children over 12 years appoint 250-500 mg 3-4 times a day. If necessary, the daily dose can be increased to 3 grams per day. After a therapeutic effect daily dose should be reduced to 1 hour
Children aged 5 to 12 years prescribed 250 mg 3-4 times a day.
Treatments for diseases of the joints can last from 20 days to 2 months or more. In the treatment of pain treatment lasts up to 7 days.
