Limenda L Composition

active substances: metronidazole, miconazole, lidocaine;
1 suppository contains 750 mg of metronidazole, 200 mg of miconazole nitrate and 100 mg of lidocaine;

Indication

Limenda L is an antimicrobial, antiprotozoal, antifungal agent for treatment

candidal vulvovaginitis caused by Candida albicans;
bacterial vaginosis caused by anaerobic bacteria and Gardnerella vaginalis;
trichomonad vaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis;
mixed vaginal infections.

Method of application and dosage

The drug is intended for intravaginal administration. You should not swallow suppositories or use the drug by any other route of administration not provided for in the instructions for medical use.

It is necessary to introduce 1 vaginal suppository deep into the vagina with the help of disposable fingers, which are in the package, at night for 7 days.

In case of relapses of the disease or vaginitis resistant to other treatment, the drug should be used at night for 14 days.

During menstruation, the drug is not recommended to be used due to a decrease in its effectiveness and the possibility of some complications during administration.

Elderly patients (over 65 years of age) do not need to adjust the dosage regimen.

Application method.

Before using the medicine, you should wash your hands thoroughly.

Vaginal suppositories should be inserted in a lying position deep into the vagina.

If possible, do not take a vertical position for at least half an hour after the introduction of the suppository.

After using the medicine, you should also wash your hands thoroughly.

Do not use a double dose of the medicine to replace a missed dose.
