Levonorgestrel 0.75 mg 2 tablets

Composition
active ingredient: levonorgestrel;

1 tablet contains 0.75 mg of levonorgestrel;

excipients: colloidal silicon dioxide, potato starch, magnesium stearate, talc, corn starch, lactose.

Hormonal contraceptives for systemic use. Emergency contraceptives. Levonorgestrel. ATX code G03A D01.

Indications
Emergency contraception within 72 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse or if the contraceptive method used was unreliable.

Directions for use and doses
You need to take two tablets.

Both tablets must be taken together as quickly as possible, preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse (see section “Pharmacological properties”).

If vomiting occurs within 3 hours after taking the tablets, take 2 more tablets immediately.

Postinor can be used in any phase of the menstrual cycle if there is no delay in menstrual bleeding.

After using emergency contraception, it is recommended to use a local barrier method (eg condoms, membranes, spermicide, cervical cap) until the next menstrual period. The use of Postinor is not a contraindication for continuing regular hormonal contraception.
