Ketotifen eye drops 0,025 %, 5ml

Composition
active substance: ketotifen; 1 ml of ketotifen fumarate in terms of ketotifen 0.25 mg; excipients: benzalkonium chloride, sodium chloride, dextran; Trilon B (Trilon B) sodium hydroxide acid citric monohydrate, purified water.

Pharmacotherapeutic group
Means used in ophthalmology. Decongestants and anti-allergic agents. ATX code S01G X08.

Indications
Treatment and prevention of allergic conjunctivitis.

Method of administration and dosage
Adults and children over 3 years old are recommended to instill 1 drop 2 times a day into the lower conjunctival sac. The contents and dispenser of the vial remains sterile to the opening of the primary packaging. The patient should be instructed to avoid the possibility of contact of the pipette tip with the eye or adjacent tissues, as this could contaminate the solution.

Shelf life
2 years. The shelf life of the solution after opening the bottle is 14 days.
