Irbetan Indications
Essential hypertension.
Hypertension in patients with kidney disease and diabetes type II consisting of antihypertensive therapy.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or malabsorption Lappa glucose-galactose.
Dosage & Administration
The usual starting and maintenance dose is 150 mg (1/2 tablet) 1 every day with food or on an empty stomach. Irbesartan 150 mg 1 time a day generally provides a better 24 hour blood pressure control than 75 mg.
The drug is prescribed for adults 1 time per day at one and the same time regardless of the meal, without chewing, with plenty of water. The dose select depending on the blood pressure response to the drug.
