Ibufen Junior (over 6 years old) Indications

Symptomatic treatment of fever and pain of various origins (including fever after immunization, SARS, influenza, teething pain, pain after tooth extraction and other types of pain, including inflammatory genesis).

Administration

For oral administration only.
The dosage for children depending on the child’s age and body weight.
A single dose should be 5-10 mg / kg body weight.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg / kg body weight.
5 ml of suspension contain 100 mg of ibuprofen.
Shake before use to obtain a homogeneous suspension.
The drug is taken after meals with some liquid.
The dispenser with scale (spoon or syringe), which is attached to the package, allows you to accurately dispense the drug.
Pain and fever
Dose set depending on the child’s age and body weight.
The daily dose is 20-30 mg / kg of body weight in equal doses separated by the following schemes:
children aged 3-6 months (5-7,6 kg): 2.5 ml 3 times per day (corresponding to 150 mg of ibuprofen per day).
Children aged 6-12 months (7,7-9 kg): 2.5 ml 3-4 times a day (corresponding to 150-200 mg ibuprofen per day).
Children aged 1-3 years (10-15 kg): 5 ml 3 times per day (corresponding to 300 mg of ibuprofen per day).
Children aged 4-6 years (16-20 kg): 7.5 ml 3 times per day (corresponding to 450 mg of ibuprofen per day).
Children aged 7-9 years (21-29 kg): 10 ml 3 times per day (corresponding to 600 mg of ibuprofen per day).
Children between the ages of 10-12 years of age (30-40 kg): 15 ml 3 times per day (corresponding to 900 mg of ibuprofen per day).
The dose can be taken every 6-8 hours, leaving a space of at least 4 hours between successive doses.

Contradictios

Hypersensitivity to Ibuprofen or any component of the drug as well as other NSAIDs; history of allergy as rhinitis, urticaria, or asthma in response to aspirin or other NSAIDs; acute or chronic gastric ulcer and / or duodenal ulcer with perforation or bleeding, including those which have arisen as a result of NSAID therapy; severe hepatic impairment, severe renal failure or severe heart failure; face while receiving other NSAIDs, including COX-2 inhibitors (increased risk of side effects); III trimester of pregnancy; hemorrhagic diathesis, bleeding and clotting disorders; Children under the age of 3 months.
