Hypothiazid 25-100mg 20 tablets

Hypothiazid Composition:

active ingredient: hydrochlorothiazide; 1 tablet contains hydrochlorothiazide 25mg or 100mg;

excipients: magnesium stearate, gelatin, talc, corn starch, lactose.

Indications:

– Edema syndrome in cardiovascular diseases, liver and kidneys; premenstrual swelling; edema caused by taking drugs such as corticosteroids.
– Arterial hypertension (as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive agents).
– Symptomatic treatment reducing polyuria (paradoxically), mainly in diabetes insipidus renal origin.
– Reducing hypercalciuria.
 

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the drug.
Hypersensitivity to other sulfonamides.
Anury.
Severe renal (creatinine clearance <30 mL / min) or hepatic insufficiency.
Resistant to treatment hypokalemia or hypercalcemia.
Refractory hyponatremia.
Symptomatic hyperuricemia (gout).
 

Dosage & Administration

Dosage of Hypothiazid is adjusted individually and requires careful medical supervision. With the increase in excretion of potassium and magnesium in the treatment may be necessary substitution therapies potassium (K + <3.0 mmol / l) and magnesium, especially in heart failure, reduced liver function and concomitant use of digitalis.
Tablets should be taken after meals.
