Grippostad C Indications

For relief of cold symptoms.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to any other component of the product;

severe liver dysfunction and / or kidney disease, Gilbert’s syndrome, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, severe hyperbilirubinemia, deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase;

hereditary forms of intolerance to galactose, lactativeLappa deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption;

alcoholism; blood disease, severe anemia, leukopenia; violation of hematopoiesis; thrombosis, thrombophlebitis;

irritability, sleep disturbances;

severe hypertension, predisposition to vasospasm, the organic diseases of the cardiovascular system (including atherosclerosis), decompensated heart failure, severe cardiac arrhythmias and conduction;

epilepsy; hyperthyroidism;

hypertrophy of the prostate, bladder neck obstruction; diabetes;

angle-closure glaucoma;

acute pancreatitis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, piloroduodenalnoy obstruction.

Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) and within 2 weeks of discontinuation of MAO inhibitors are not used with tricyclic antidepressants or beta blockers.

Elderly patients.

Pregnancy and lactation.

Children age 12 and under.

Dosage & Administration

The drug is intended for oral administration. The dose for adults and children over 12 years is 2 capsules 3 times a day: morning, afternoon and evening, the interval between doses – at least 4 hours.

The drug is taken regardless of meals, drinking plenty of water.

The maximum term independent of the drug is 3-5 days. When prescribing physician treatment is 5-7 days.
