Gofen Ibuprofen 200-400mg 60 caps

Gofen Indications

Symptomatic treatment head, dental and menstrual pain.

Fever.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or to any component of the drug;
bronchospasm, asthma, rhinitis or skin rash associated with the use of aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);
gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation in history after using NSAIDs;
peptic ulcer / bleeding now or in history (two or more distinct episodes of exacerbation of peptic ulcer or bleeding);
severe renal, cardiac or hepatic failure;
concomitant use with other NSAIDs, including selective cyclooxygenase-2

Children

The drug is contraindicated in children under 12 years.

Dosage & Administration

The drug is recommended for adults and children over 12 years: initial dose is 1-2 capsules, soft (200-400 mg) and then, if necessary – Soft 1-2 capsules (200-400 mg) every 4 6 hours. Do not take more than 6 capsules mild in 24 hours. The maximum daily dose – 1200 mg.

Soft capsules are usually taken when eating without chewing with water.
Elderly patients do not require a special selection of doses.
