Fosforal granules 3g/1 sachet

Fosforal Composition:
active ingredient: fosfomycin; 1 package contains fosfomycin trometamol 5.631 g, which is equivalent to 3 g of fosfomycin; excipients: tangerine flavor, orange flavor, saccharin, sucrose.

Indications:
Treatment of acute uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections caused by fosfomycin-susceptible microorganisms in men and women over 12 years of age and adult women. Prevention during diagnostic procedures and surgical interventions in adult patients.

Dosage and administration:
Phosphoral should be taken orally on an empty stomach, preferably at bedtime after emptying the bladder. Dissolve contents of sachet in ½ cup of water. The dosage regimen is set by the doctor. Usually a single dose for adults, including patients of summer age (up to 75 years of age), in the acute phase of the disease is 3 g (1 packet) once. In order to prevent infection of the urinary tract during surgery, transurethral diagnostic studies, take the contents of 1 package 3 hours before the intervention and the second package – 24 hours after the intervention.
