Fluocinolone acetonide ointment 0,025%,15g

Composition:
active substance: fluocinoloni acetonidum; 1 g of ointment contains fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg;
excipients: benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol, white soft paraffin, lanolin, ceresin.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Corticosteroids for dermatological use. ATX code D07A С04.

Indications:
Allergic and inflammatory skin diseases of non-microbial etiology (seborrheic dermatitis, eczema of various origins and localization, psoriasis).

Method of administration and dosage:
The drug is intended for topical use only. Apply a small amount of the drug 1-2 times a day and rub in lightly. The duration of the course of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and is usually 5-10 days, with a long course of the disease – no more than 2 weeks. For children over 2 years of age, use with caution 1 time per day under medical supervision.

You should not use the ointment under an occlusive dressing, only in the case of psoriasis it is allowed to use the drug in a closed dressing, which should be changed every day. Cannot be applied to the face for more than 1 day. The ointment is recommended to be used mainly for dry forms of dermatoses. The duration of use for children should not exceed 5 days.
