ETOL FORT Indications

For immediate or long-term treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.
Pain syndrome of different origin.

Contraindications

– hypersensitivity to any component of the drug; a history of hypersensitivity reactions (eg asthma attacks, urticaria, rhinitis, angioedema) by taking aspirin, ibuprofen or other NSAIDs;

– active or recurrent peptic ulcer / bleeding history (two or more separate confirmed cases of ulcers or bleeding);

– gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAIDs therapy history;

– cytopenia, severe hepatic, renal, cardiac insufficiency.

Contraindicated for the treatment of pain in coronary artery bypass grafting.

Dosage & Administration

Adults.

The recommended single dose Etol Fort is 400 mg. The drug is used 2 times a day: 1 tablet morning and evening after meals.
The maximum daily dose – 1000 mg.
In rheumatic diseases, the treatment depends on the effectiveness of therapy and the nature of the disease. With the prolonged course of therapy the dose should be adjusted every 2-3 weeks of preparation.
In the treatment of acute pain conditions due to inflammation (such as toothache, myositis, tendinitis) and operating pain syndromes after treatment is 5 days. At home and menstrual pain Etol Fort take 1-2 tablets a day as needed up to 3 days.
 

Children.
The safety and efficacy of etodolac has not been evaluated in children, so it is not used in pediatric practice.
