Eneas (enalapril + nitrendipine)

Eneas contains the active ingredient enalapril + nitrendipine, ACE inhibitor + calcium channel blocker combination.

Eneas Indications

Treatment of essential hypertension in patients who require combination therapy.

Contraindications

–  Hypersensitivity to the drug or to any other ACE inhibitor;

– angioedema in history, caused any ACE inhibitor;

– hereditary or idiopathic angioedema;

– II-III trimester of pregnancy;

– condition with unstable hemodynamics, especially after cardiovascular shock, acute heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, acute stroke;

– bilateral renal artery stenosis or unilateral renal artery stenosis in patients with only one kidney;

– stenosis of the aortic or mitral valve with severe hemodynamic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy;

– severe degree of renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance less than 10 ml / min) during hemodialysis;

– severe degree of liver failure; diabetes or renal dysfunction (GFR <60 ml / min / 1.73 m2);

– pregnancy or women who plan to become pregnant;

– should not be used with medicines containing aliskiren.

Dosage & Administration

Tablets are swallowed whole, and not rozlamuyuchy without chewing, drinking plenty of water.

Recommended individual dose selection for combination therapy.

According to the testimony and under medical supervision possible direct change from monotherapy to the fixed combination.

Adults, including elderly patients. The recommended dose – 1 tablet per day.
