Eliquis Composition
active ingredient: apixaban;

1 film-coated tablet contains 5 mg of apixaban;

auxiliary substances: anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, Opadry® II Pink (hypromellose 15 сР; lactose, monohydrate; titanium dioxide (E 171); triacetin; iron oxide red (E 172)).

Indication
Prevention of strokes and systemic embolism in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation who have one or more risk factors, such as a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack, age over 75 years, arterial hypertension, diabetes, symptomatic heart failure (at least class II according to the New York Heart Association classification).
Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), as well as prevention of recurrences of DVT and PE in adults (information on patients suffering from PE and unstable hemodynamics is given in the section “Particulars of use”).
