Edarbi (azilsartan medoxomil)

Edarbi contains the active ingredient azilsartan medoxomil, angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB).

Edarbi Indications

Treatment of essential hypertension ( adults ).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any other drug.

Second or third trimester of pregnancy.

Do not use together with aliskirenom patients with diabetes.

Dosage & Administration

Edarbi is intended for oral use, tablets can be taken regardless of meals.

The recommended starting dose is 40 mg 1 time a day.

For patients in whom the dose does not adequately control blood pressure, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 80 mg 1 time a day.

Sustained antihypertensive effect is achieved within 2 weeks of treatment. The maximum effect is achieved after 4 weeks treatment drug.
