Domidon Domperidone 10mg 30 tablets

Domidon Composition:
active ingredient: domperidone; 1 tablet contains domperidone 10 mg;
excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch microcrystalline cellulose corn starch; povidone, magnesium stearate; film shell: Sepifilm 752 Blanc (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol (macrogol 40), titanium dioxide (E 171)).

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Means used in functional gastrointestinal disorders. Peristalsis stimulants. ATX code A03F A03.

Indications:
To relieve symptoms of nausea and vomiting.

Dosage and administration:
To relieve symptoms of nausea and vomiting.
Adults and children over 12 years old and weighing at least 35 kg:
1 tablet (10 mg) 3 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets (30 mg per day). It is recommended to take the drug Domidon before meals. The absorption of the drug is somewhat delayed if taken after meals. The duration of treatment should not exceed 1 week.

Adults aged ˃ 60 years
Patients over the age of 60 should consult a doctor before taking the drug.

Impaired kidney function
Since the half-life of domperidone in severe renal impairment (serum creatinine ˃ 6 mg / 100 ml, i.e. ˃ 0.6 mmol / l) is extended, the frequency of Domidon should be reduced to 1 or 2 times a day, depending on the severity of the violation; it may also be necessary to reduce the dose.
Patients with severe renal impairment should be regularly examined (see section “Pharmacological properties”).

Impaired liver function
The drug Domidon is contraindicated in patients with impaired liver function of moderate (7-9 points on the Child-Pugh scale) or severe (˃ 9 points on the Child-Pugh scale) degree (see Section “Contraindications”). Dose adjustment in patients with mild hepatic impairment (5-6 points on the Child-Pugh scale) is not required (see section “Pharmacological properties”).
