Citramon Forte Indications

Therapy of mild or moderate pain: at home or dental pain in primary dysmenorrhea, migraine, arthralgia, neuralgia, diseases involving hyperthermia various etiologies (as refrigerant).

Dosage & Administration

Citramon Forte applied inside, better after eating. Assign adults and children over 16 years: 1 capsule 2-3 times a day. The drug should not be used longer than 5 days for pain relief and for more than 3 days as an antipyretic. Appoint and once for the relief of acute pain – 2 capsules. The maximum daily dose of 6 capsules, divided into 3 doses.

Children

Do not use products containing acetylsalicylic acid, for children with acute respiratory infection (ARI), which is accompanied or not accompanied by fever. In some viral diseases, particularly influenza A, influenza B and chicken pox, there is a risk of Reye’s syndrome, which requires immediate medical intervention. The risk may be increased when acetylsalicylic acid is used as a concomitant drug, however, the causal link in this case is not proven. If these conditions are accompanied by prolonged vomiting, it may be a sign of Reye’s syndrome.

Given the above reasons, children under the age of 16 not use this drug without a specific indication (Kawasaki disease).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, other salicylates; severe liver and / or kidney disease, congenital hyperbilirubinemia, deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, alcohol, blood disorders, hemophilia, hemorrhagic diathesis, severe anemia, leukopenia, thrombosis, thrombophlebitis; hemorrhagic disease; acute peptic ulcer state of increased arousal; sleep disturbance;
