Ceregin (cerebrolysin)

Ceregin contains the active ingredient cerebrolysin, neuropeptide nootropic.

Ceregin Indications

Progressive disorder of cognitive and intellectual-mental functions for:
– vascular encephalopathy;
– ischemic stroke (acute phase and convalescence);
– traumatic brain injury (traumatic brain injury, concussion, post-surgery on the brain);
– syndrome of dementia of various origins;
– vascular dementia;
– endogenous depression, resistant to antidepressants.

Contradictions

Increased individual sensitivity to the drug, acute renal failure, epilepsy, pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage & Administration

Drug is used alone as a parenteral / injectable m (5.1 ml) or / drip infusion (10-50 ml). The dose and duration of treatment depends on the nature, severity of disease and age of the patient.

The standard course duration of treatment – 4 weeks (minimum of 5 injections per week, if possible – on a daily basis).

Acute conditions (ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury, post-neurosurgical operations). The drug is administered in / in the drip, daily, a daily dose for adults 10-50 ml (100-250 ml saline solution) for 60-90 minutes. Duration of the course – 10-25 days.
The residual period of stroke and traumatic brain injury. Tseregin designate adults 5-10 ml / day / in for 20-30 days.

Psychoorganic syndrome and depression. The drug used in the form of on / in infusion for adults in a daily dose of 5-10 ml for 20-25 days and 10-15 respectively.

Vascular dementia and mixed genesis. The recommended dose for adults – 20-30 ml of the product diluted in 100-200 ml physiological p-ra. The course of treatment – 20 infusions.
