Dosage & Administration

Before a meal, with water.
Adults appoint 250-500 mg 3 times a day. The highest single dose: adults – 750 mg for patients older than 60 years – 500 mg. The course of treatment is 4-6 weeks.

Children under the age of 11 years – 250 mg 2-3 times a day.
BIGF be combined with other psychotropic agents, it increases its efficiency. Thus it is possible to reduce the dose of bIGF other simultaneously used drugs.

For treatment of alcohol withdrawal syndrome bIGF in the first days of treatment appoint 250-500 mg 3 times daily and 750 mg at bedtime, with a gradual decrease in the daily dose to normal adult.

To eliminate vertigo vestibular dysfunction of infectious origin (otogenny labyrinthitis) and Meniere’s disease in acute bIGF appoint 750 mg 3 times a day for 5-7 days, with a decrease in the severity of vestibular disorders – 250-500 mg 3 times a day for 5-7 days, and then – 250 mg 1 time per day for 5 days. At relatively mild disease bIGF taking 250 mg 2 times a day for 5-7 days, and then – 250 mg 1 time per day for 7-10 days.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Acute renal failure.

Children under 11 years old.
