Description

Composition:
active ingredients: 1 ml of the preparation contains ethyl ester of α-bromisovaleric acid in terms of 100% dry matter 18 mg; solution of menthol in menthyl ester of isovaleric acid (validol) 80 mg, phenobarbital 17 mg; excipients: sodium acetate trihydrate, ethanol (96%), purified water.

Indications for use:
Neuroses, accompanied by increased excitability, insomnia, hysteria; as part of the complex treatment of mild angina attacks, arterial hypertension in the initial stage, tachycardia of functional genesis, with spasms of the stomach and intestines, flatulence.

Contraindications:
The drug is not used for children, pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding. Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to any of the drug’s components, with hepatic and renal failure, hepatic porphyria.

Method of administration and dosage:
Barboval is taken orally with a small amount of liquid or on a lump of sugar under the tongue. Doses and duration of treatment are set by the doctor individually. Usually, adults take 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day for 10-15 days. It is better to take the drug 20-30 minutes before meals. After a break of 10-15 days, the course of treatment can be repeated.
