Azithromycin INDICATIONS

– infections caused by susceptible microorganisms to azithromycin, including upper respiratory tract and upper respiratory tract infections (acute tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media), lower respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis, and acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis); use azithromycin 500mg tablet as directed.

– scarlet fever;

– infections of skin and soft tissues (erysipelas, impetigo, secondarily infected dermatitis);

– infections of the genitourinary system (uncomplicated urethritis and / or cervicitis, including those caused by chlamydia, mycoplasma, ureaplasma, and of gonococcal infection), for the treatment of early stage Lyme disease (borreliosis) – erythema migrans;

– diseases of the stomach and duodenum, associated with Helicobacter pylori (in the complex therapy).

APPLICATION

Hemomitsin be taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating. 1 The drug is taken once a day.

Adults and children over the age of 12 years or with a body weight> 45 kg for respiratory tract infections, skin and subcutaneous fat appoint 500 mg (2 capsules or 1 tablet) per day for 3 days;

 chronic erythema migrans (initial stage of Lyme disease) – 1 g (2 tablets) in day 1 and 500 mg – from 2 to 5 th day (course dose – 3 g);

urogenital system infections – 1 g (4 capsules or two tablets) once;

while complex treatment of urethritis and / or cervicitis with chronic or complicated course of 1 g (2 tablets) in the 1st, 7th and 14th day of treatment; in diseases of stomach and duodenal ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori, – 1 g (4 capsules or two tablets) daily for 3 days in a combination therapy.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to the drug and other macrolide antibiotics;
in tablet form – children under the age of 12 years and in capsule form – children under 6 years of age or body weight <25 kg;
not used in conjunction with drugs uterine horns.
