Azithro (azithromycin)

Azithro contains the active ingredient azithromycin, macrolide antibiotic.

Azithro INDICATIONS

infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin: infection of upper respiratory tract (sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis);

lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia of mild to moderate severity);

inflammation of the middle ear;

skin and soft tissue infections;

uncomplicated urogenital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.

APPLICATION

Adults – 500 mg once daily for 3 days or 500 mg one day and then 250 mg on the 2nd to 5th day.
In uncomplicated urethritis / cervicitis dosage for adults is 1 g in a single oral dose.

In a complicated long-term course of urethritis / cervicitis caused Chlamidia trachomatis, – 1 g 3 times at intervals of 7 days (01/07/14 minutes).

Heading dose – 3 years
Children: 1 administered once daily to 10 mg / kg body weight for 3 or 5 days from a single dose of 10 mg / kg on day 1, then – in a dose of 5 mg / kg following 4 days
