Atropina (atropine)

Atropina contains the active ingredient atropine, antimuscarinic / mydriatic-cycloplegic.

Atropina Indications

Diagnostic mydriasis fundus in the study to achieve paralysis of accommodation to determine the true refractive errors, in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, eye injuries and embolism, spasm of the central retinal artery.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to atropine sulfate.

Closure glaucoma.

Dosage & Administration

With the purpose of treatment for adults and children over 7 years appoint 1 – 2 drops 2 – 6 times a day.

Maximum atropine dilated pupils, which helps to relax the eye muscles and accelerates regression of pathological process is observed in 30 – 40 minutes, mydriasis – in 7 – 10 days paralysis of accommodation – respectively in 1 – 3 hours and 8 – 12 days.
