Duphalac Indications
Constipation (regulation of the physiological rhythm of the intestine);
Conditions requiring relief of defecation (hemorrhoids, after operations on the colon and anorectal area);
Porosystemic hepatic encephalopathy (PSE): treatment and prevention of hepatic coma and precoom.
Contradictions
Galactosemia, intestinal obstruction, hypersensitivity to the active substance or other components of the drug.
Dosage & Administration
If the patient is prescribed once a day, the dose should always be taken at the same time of day, for example, during breakfast.
During therapy with laxatives it is recommended to use sufficient liquid (1.5-2 liters, corresponding to 6-8 cups) per day.
