Azarga (brinzolamide + timolol)

Azarga contains the active ingredient brinzolamide + timolol, carbonic anhydrase inhibitor + beta-blocker (antiglaucoma).

Azarga Indications

Reduction of intraocular pressure in adult patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, in which the use of monotherapy did not result in significant reduction in intraocular pressure.

Contraindications

· Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients of the drug.

· Increased sensitivity to other β-blockers.

· Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.

· Rolling accompanied by airway hyperreactivity, including asthma or asthma history, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Dosage & Administration

Adults, including the elderly

The dose is 1 drop of eye drops AZARGA in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (eyes), 2 times a day.

Systemic absorption is reduced when pressed in the area nososlozovoho opening or close the eyelids for 2 minutes. This system reduces side effects and increases local activity.

If a dose is missed, treatment should continue using next dose according to the scheme application. The dose should not exceed 1 drop in the affected eye (eyes), 2 times a day.
