Tamvelier (moxifloxacin)

Tamvelier contains the active ingredient moxifloxacin, fluoroquinolone antibiotic.

Tamvelier Indications

Topical treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by moxifloxacin-sensitive strains of bacteria.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to the active substance, other quinolones or to any of the components of the drug.

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye (s) 3 times a day.

The condition usually improves within 5 days, after which treatment should be continued for another 2-3 days. If no improvement is observed within 5 days of treatment, a physician should be consulted to clarify the diagnosis and / or treatment. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and the clinical and bacteriological picture of the disease.
