Rozalin contains the active ingredient dorzolamide, carbonic anhydrase inhibitor (antiglaucoma).
ROZALIN Indications
Treatment of high intraocular pressure in patients with:
– ocular hypertension;
– open-angle glaucoma;
– pseudoexfoliative glaucoma;
– as adjunctive therapy in treatment with beta-blockers or as monotherapy when treatment with beta-blockers has not been successful or beta-blockers are contraindicated.
Contradictions
Hypersensitivity to the active substance of the drug or to any of the excipients.
Severe renal impairment (CrClml / min.).
Hyperchloremic acidosis.
Dosage & Administration
If Rosalin is used as monotherapy, 1 drop should be instilled into the affected eye (or both eyes) 3 times a day.
In adjuvant therapy, together with beta-adrenolytic drugs for topical application, instill 1 drop of Rosalin 2 times a day in the conjunctival sac of the patient’s eye (s).
If you want to replace Rosaline with another topical antiglaucoma drug, you should stop treatment with this drug and start using Rosalin the next day.
If the patient uses several topical ophthalmic drugs during treatment, they should be used with an interval of at least 10 minutes.
When using the drug, it is necessary to avoid contact of the dropper with the surface of the eye or the skin around the eyes, otherwise the eye drops may be contaminated with microorganisms that can cause eye (eye) infection. Use of the contaminated solution may result in severe eye damage, which may result in vision loss.
