Levoximed (levofloxacin)

Levoximed contains the active ingredient levofloxacin, fluoroquinolone antibiotic.

Levoximed Indications

Dosage form: tablets, film coated pills.

Infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug:

– upper respiratory tract infections: acute sinusitis;

– lower respiratory tract infections, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia pozahospitalni;

– complicated infections of the urinary tract, including pyelonephritis;

– uncomplicated urinary tract infections, prostatitis;

– infections of skin and soft tissues.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other quinolones, epilepsy, patients complained of side effects tendon after previous application quinoline.

Dosage & Administration

Levoximed used internally by 250-500 mg 1-2 times / day regardless of the meal without chewing and drinking plenty of fluids. The dose is determined by the nature and severity of infection and pathogen sensitivity to probable.
