Ixime (cefixime)

Ixime contains the active ingredient cefixime, third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.

Ixime INDICATIONS

infections caused by the pathogens susceptible to cefixime:

– acute and chronic bronchitis; acute pneumonia;

– inflammation of the middle ear; pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis and bacterial etiology;

– uncomplicated bacterial infections of the genitourinary system;

– acute intestinal infection.

APPLICATION

the suspension is intended for use in pediatric treatment.

For children aged 6 months to 12 years with a body weight 50 kg is 400 mg / day once or 200 mg two times a day at intervals of 12 hours.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

increased sensitivity to antibiotics of penicillin and cephalosporin, or to any component of the drug, the liver, gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcerative colitis, porphyria.
